Communication Software Specialties (CSS) is a division of Sierra Security Systems, Inc., has been involved with the telecommunications industry since the early 1970's. The corporate offices are located in Bishop, CA. with field offices in Billings MT. Communication Software Specialties is a provider of turnkey and customized software solutions for the telecommunications industry. Services include: Consultants, Engineers, Programmers, packaged software, and industry databases.

Serving the telecommunication software industry, Communication Software Specialties founded in 1982, employs leading edge technology to develop office automation, convergent rating, billing, and customer care software solutions. With a commitment to keeping customers ahead of the technology curve, Communication Software Specialties has a long history as an established leader in the industry; we are entering our twentieth year of business.

Communication Software Specialties was originally incorporated in 1982 to provide customized billing applications for small to mid-sized telecommunications providers, primarily the newly emerging Long Distance Resellers of the 1980’s. Our development of the Integrated Billing System (IBS) for these smaller companies provided an economic solution for bringing their entire billing function in-house.

One of the principle goals of Communication Software Specialties is to consistently deliver well-designed, high-quality, high-performance software. Thus, we aggressively improve and add features to our products allowing us to frequently provide new software releases. Our dedicated Customer Support group allows us to quickly diagnose and rectify customer problems, and to install new software releases remotely.
